Tenant Insurance is a requirement of your lease agreement.
This insurance which is specifically structured for a renter of a rental space mainly protects you
from having to pay out for any damages that you (or your guest) may cause to your apartment,
the common areas of the building where you reside or possibly other resident's property.
Insurance could also protect you if you are held responsible for injury to another person.
Without Tenant Insurance to protect you from unexpected accidents you could be liable for
thousands of dollars in damages and you would also be in violation of your Lease Agreement.
