FAQ: What happens if a Tenant is late paying the rent?

We are serious about timely rent payments. If a Tenant is repeatedly late, we will assess late payment fees against the Tenant, to the full extent that the lease agreement allows.

After a Property Owner approved number of times late, we will issue the Tenant an N8 form. This is an eviction notice for a Tenant who is persistently late paying rent. Then Wolverine Property Management will file with the Landlord and Tenant Board to seek an eviction on
behalf of the Property Owner.

A Paralegal will be hired on behalf of the Property Owner, to handle the file at the Tribunal.

We will assist the Paralegal throughout this process and may attend the hearing as well.

Although we cannot guarantee a successful outcome, we will approach each case with the full intention of winning an eviction.
