David Gerrior,
Property Maintenance Co-ordinator-Pictou County, Nova Scotia

David Gerrior was born and raised in the New Glasgow area of Nova Scotia. He has spent nearly all of his life there, save for a brief few months in Toronto, where he quickly learned the high cost of big-city living and returned to stay. David started with several part-time jobs until he married, at which point his boss helped him secure full-time work. Throughout his career, he has acted as a helper on diverse projects, ranging from roofing to flooring and many things in between. He spent several years in a production role until an injury complicated his work status. Following that, he spent a summer assisting with deck building and various landscape projects. This job required extensive travel and a six-day work week, prompting him to leave and join Wolverine.
His deep roots in the area and familiarity with local vendors have been instrumental in allowing him to thrive in a role he might not have initially sought out, proving his ability to adapt and solve problems as they arise day to day. He credits his seamless integration to the supportive team dynamic at Wolverine, noting that team members carry him when he struggles and complement each other equally. While David is comfortable working alone, he has discovered that the team environment at Wolverine has clearly shown him the significant benefits of working together, all for the betterment of the properties Wolverine manages and the tenants and owners we serve.
